Review Of The Playtech Casino From Betfair

Today I am going to chat about the Betfair’s online casino. Betfair are probably most famous for the sports betting and horse betting opportunities but they are also one of the big players in the casino market.

I will start by giving you a small history lesson. While Betfair now have one of the best casinos it hasn’t always been this way. While the potential was always there it’s only recently that Betfair rose to it.

Most online casinos offer both a flash version of their games and a download version. Flash games are played directly on the casinos website without download any software. The software version is a .exe file that connects to server whenever you want to play.

The graphics and the speed in which you can play are always better with software downloads so they’re much more popular than flash games. Betfair didn’t always have a download version, for a few years all they offered was a flash version.

This wasn’t a good thing because I remember that it was very slow and frustrating to play. However, while the games were terrible to play they were unique because of the odds. You could play roulette, blackjack, baccarat and a few others and the odds were fair, in other words no house edge.

Betfair are the only casino to offer this so they have a lot of players. The problem was that the games were pretty awful to play. Well the people over at Betfair are smart and they realized this, they recently re launched the casino using Playtech download software.

The games you get with Playtech are very realistic and smart, they’re without question one of the best software providers. However Betfair remembered what made their original casino appealing, the fair games so they integrated these with the Playtech software.

The thing that makes Betfair Casino stand out from the crowd is that they are the only casino using Playtech software that has zero house edge games. It would have been very easy for Betfair to upgrade to Playtech without adding the zero house edge games, it’s good to see that they brought their fair games with them.
